An exciting opportunity exists for a highly collaborative professional to join the Western Melbourne Early Childhood Improvement Branch. This role will support Victorian Government funded kindergarten providers to implement some of the most significant early childhood reforms the state of Victoria has ever seen.
The main purpose of the Kindergarten Improvement Advisor (Three-Year-Old Kindergarten) is to advise, support and build the capacity of funded kindergarten services to implement Three-Year-Old Kindergarten. The Kindergarten Improvement Advisor will need to draw on experience and knowledge in an early learning context, administration of early childhood services and curriculum delivery to support services in providing access to funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten. The Kindergarten Improvement Advisor will collaborate with funded kindergarten services to choose evidence based strategies to ensure School Readiness Funding is directed towards priority outcomes. To be successful in this role you should have excellent interpersonal, influencing and analytical skills. You will possess a strong understanding of quality pedagogical practices and a strong knowledge of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
